The Kooples acts as the data controller for the personal data collected from candidates.

Confirmation of consent to the processing of your personal data

By applying for a job at The Kooples, as data controller, you authorize us to collect your personal data and use it as part of a recruitment process and any hiring procedures.

We collect and process the following data: your last name, first name(s), age, postal address, email address, previous and/or current position(s) (hereinafter your “Data”).

In addition, your Data will be used to contact you and process your application.

The processing of your Data is based on:

• the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR), for the assessment and processing of your application; and
• where applicable, your consent for retaining your file for future opportunities, for a maximum period of 24 months.

You are not required to provide this Data. However, without it, The Kooples will not be able to process your application.

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”) and French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on Information Technology, Files and Civil Liberties, you have the following rights:

• Right of access (Article 15 of the GDPR)
• Right to rectification (Article 16 of the GDPR)
• Right to erasure (Article 17 of the GDPR)
• Right to restriction of processing (Article 18 of the GDPR)
• Right to data portability (Article 20 of the GDPR)
• Right to object (Article 21 of the GDPR)

All of the above rights are personal and may only be exercised by the individual who provided the Data to The Kooples.

For the purposes set out herein, your Data may be retained by The Kooples for a maximum period of 24 months. After this period, you will receive a message inviting you to update your Data. If no response is received within 10 days, your Data will be deleted from our databases.

Your Data is not subject to automated processing. As part of the processing described herein, The Kooples implements all appropriate technical, organizational, and security measures to prevent any unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, destruction, or loss of your Data.

Your Data is hosted in data centers located within the European Union. Unless otherwise required by law, regulation, or court order, access to your Data will be restricted to The Kooples’ employees and, where applicable, to its service providers who need to access and/or use it for the purposes described above.
